Povilas has organized and coordinated nearly 1,000 concerts across several European countries, with a particular focus on Norway and Lithuania.

He has extensive experience in artistic leadership and concert production:

Former Artistic Director of Asker Chamber Music Festival and Asker Chamber Concerts

Former co-organizer of Nansen Norwegian Music Festival in Kharkiv, Ukraine

Former leader and concert producer for the ensembles Oktava and Ensemble International
 

Today, Povilas is the director of the concert series “Toner og Tanker på Malerhjemmet” and one of the most extensive viola festivals, the "Norwegian Viola Festival".
